XBox ONE!!! Haters Can't Hate No More!

This was not planned long ago.  They got so much overwhelming negative feedback that they had to change it.  It is a much better deal now though.  It is still $100 more expensive and you cannot switch the HD.  Also Kinect is still required and cannot be disconnected.  Things are looking slightly better but still far from rosy.

All pre-announcement data showed it was unpopular. It created amazing buzz. I have no doubt this was a business plan from the get go.

Watch for the kinectless One option for 399 soon. 

It all boils down to business and buzz.

The main thing I don't get is if you don't like the Xbox One then don't buy it? They are bringing out another 360 console so I never saw what the big deal was. With everything the Xbox One does it makes sense for the sensor to be needed and to not be disconnected. Idk... Everything that everyone seemed to be complaining about seemed pretty juvenile to me, but I guess that's just my opinion. Not trying to offend anyone of course.
