general show crticism

I loved Battlestar Galactica, but it doesn't seem that Defiance is getting the same 4 star treatment and budget that BSG did.  Defiance at times just feels cheap, bad actors, cheap sets, poor writing, more like their previous series Eureka. BSG never felt cheap to me, which makes me question if Syfy really believes in this show.  I know that Syfy doesn't have huge amounts of money.  Maybe if it is really successful they will invest more money in it.

yeah i realized the same thing, they actually stated that the guys have more of a budget for makeup then the girls in the show do and you can tell lol. I hope they do start putting more money into the show because it has great potential.
